Nestled in the forests of Lynn Canyon Park is the Lynn Canyon Café. The bistro-style cafe offers the perfect spot for those who enjoy experiencing nature and good food, hand in hand. This West Coast style café incorporates dramatic wooden beams and walls of glass that draw nature into the interior. Glass dragonflies, designed by west coast glass artist, Robert Keillor create a dramatic presence to the interior, and accentuate the strong natural history of this popular park.

Gourmet Delights

Siphon coffee and delectable cheeseburgers are only a couple of the treats awaiting you at the Lynn Canyon Cafe. Nestled amongst the evergreens of Lynn Canyon Park, Lynn Canyon Cafe has something to satisfy everyone, whether you’re looking for a bite to eat before you hike the lush canyon trails, or if you’re looking for a snack after a leisurely stroll.

Lynn Canyon Cafe is proud to be Vancouver’s only Siphon coffee bar. Each coffee is brewed fresh while you to watch. Your choice of locally roasted beans are freshly ground and expertly brewed using two stacked glass globes resting on a halogen beam heater. The fresh ground coffee is added to the top globe while the water-filled bottom globe is heated to the ideal temperature. Gradually the heated water will travel up the glass tube to the upper vessel gently infusing the fresh coffee grounds. Visitors enjoy watching the master brewer create the perfect cup of Siphon coffee.

While you’re enjoying a steaming cup of siphon coffee, why not treat yourself to a gourmet cheeseburger. A quarter pound of certified organic ground beef is packed into a rectangular tray and steamed in a stovetop steamer. These delicious burgers are served on gourmet burger buns and topped with a thick layer of melted cheddar cheese and various fixings.

How to Get There

The café is located in Lynn Canyon Park (3690 Park Rd.). To get to the park, follow along Lynn Valley Road, until you come to Peters Road. Turn onto Peters Road which ends at the park boundary, where signs will direct you into the park area. For details, check the location map.
