Registration for the June 18 Delbrook Lands Dialogue is now open
We have partnered with Simon Fraser University’s Centre for Dialogue to conduct an innovative, open, and transparent public process to find options for what to do with the Delbrook Lands.
Working closely with the community, we will identify ideas for potential future land use, and make a recommendation to Council that is informed by community values and real-world constraints, and is broadly supported by area and local residents.
About the Deliberative Dialogue
A major component of this process is the Community Deliberative Dialogue, being held on June 18.
At the Dialogue, approximately 100 community members will spend the day deliberating on information and ideas. They will then make recommendations that reflect the interests of the entire community.
There are 100 available seats — 50 for local Delbrook residents and 50 for District-wide stakeholders — and participants will be selected using a random process being held in public.
Register your interest now
The deadline to register your interest in attending is May 18. The 100 participants will be selected on May 20.
