Update on yesterday's fire in Lynn Valley

Support and services for those directly affected by the fire

North Shore Emergency Management is assisting displaced residents and connecting them with all available services, including temporary accommodations. This includes lodging, food, and clothing for the first 72 hours, provided via the Province of BC.

June 13 meeting for fire evacuees

Representatives from North Shore Emergency Management, the District of North Vancouver, Fire, RCMP, the Canadian Red Cross and other community organizations will be present to provide updated information to those that have been directly affected by the incident, and provide them with support and follow up services as needed. 

Attendance is limited to people directly affected by the fire so that they receive the priority services and supports they need.

Child-minding will be available for the duration of the meeting.
