Seymour

Map illustration of the Seymour area

The Seymour community covers the largest area in the District, encompassing the Riverside, Seymour Heights, Blueridge, McCartney Woods, Windridge, Windsor Park, Northlands, Parkway, Parkgate, Indian River, and Roche Point neighbourhoods.

It is also home to the Tsleil-Waututh First Nation. Bounded by the Seymour River and its canyon on the west, Deep Cove to the east, Burrard Inlet to the south and the forests of Seymour Mountain to the north, Seymour is a family-oriented community with abundant recreational amenities. Residents in this area are minutes from the huge network of trails in the forests and the tranquil beauty of the Maplewood Mudflats nature preserve on the waterfront.

The community is also home to the Mount Seymour ski facility, and boasts two golf courses.
