Boffo Properties Inc. has submitted a detailed application to rezone this site in order to redevelop the property.

The application as submitted proposes:

  • 25 three-storey townhomes in five buildings framing a central courtyard

Site overview

The site is located along Ridgewood Drive, extending east of Ayr Ave, and currently consists of four single-family homes. It is opposite the new mixed-use development being built on the site bounded by Ridgewood Dr, Edgemont Blvd, and Ayr Ave.

Current land use designation

The land is currently designated RES2: Detached Residential in the Official Community Plan (OCP).

Additional requirements

If the application proceeds, it will require:

  • Rezoning
  • An OCP amendment

It will also require a development permit for:

  • Form and character of commercial, industrial, and multi-family development
  • Energy and water conservation and greenhouse gas emission reductions
