Following guidance from the province's Restart BC Plan and new health and safety regulations from WorkSafeBC, we are taking all necessary steps to protect public health and maintain the safety of our employees.
COVID-19 updates and closures
Working together as a community, we have made significant progress in our efforts to 'flatten the curve' and reduce the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following guidance from the province's Restart BC Plan and new health and safety regulations from WorkSafeBC, we are taking all necessary steps to protect public health and maintain the safety of our employees, while gradually and carefully increasing access to District facilities and services, when appropriate.
In situations where increased access is not yet recommended, we are providing safe alternatives for interacting and doing business with us.
Facilities and services
Many District community centres and other facilities are being carefully reopened, while the availability of some services have been reduced. Get the full list of facilities, parks, and services that have been impacted.
Doing business with us
While many facilities are closed or have reduced service, including District Hall, you can still access many services online, by phone, or by special appointment.
Support for residents and businesses
If you need help for you or your family, or you need additional support for your business, there are a number of local, provincial, and federal health and financial resources available to you.
COVID-19 safety plan
This safety plan protects District employees from exposure to COVID–19 at work, by assessing risk and implementing protocols, and through the development and implementation of safe work procedures.
