We held a public hearing for Bylaws 8397 and 8398, proposed amendments to the Official Community Plan and Zoning bylaw, to permit the creation of a new neighbourhood park and a four-story building with low to moderate income rental housing and a seniors' care facility on the Delbrook Lands.

August 22, 2019 — Detailed application received
Staff received the detailed application, and started reviewing it.
The site is currently occupied by the former Delbrook Community Centre, a community services building, Little Rascals Daycare, tennis courts, and two parking lots.
Current land use designation
The Official Community Plan (OCP) designates this site as Institutional (INST).
The proposed floor space ratio (the building's total floor area in relation to the size of the lot) for the proposed four-storey non-market rental and seniors' care facility building is approximately 1.8.
The neighbourhood park will occupy approximately 14,200 sq m (152,800 sq ft) of the northern portion of the site.
