Preserving our heritage

Ensuring we have a clear sense of identity and place — and a legacy that links our past, present, and future — is one of the objectives of our Official Community Plan.

We have a number of policies and programs in place that both encourage the protection and enhancement of historically significant buildings and sites, and enable everyone to understand and appreciate our rich and unique history.

Heritage Strategic Plan

Our Heritage Strategic Plan guides the long-term management of our heritage homes, structures, parks, landscape features, and community spaces.
