Evergreen Place walkway planting maintenance and restoration

Saturday, Mar 23, 2019
10:00am - 1:00pm
Mahon Ave and Evergreen Place

Join us as we return to the Norwood Queens neighbourhood to continue the battle against invasive species!

We will continue working in the walkway that joins Mahon Ave and Calder Ave, across from Evergreen Pl. After removing the invasives that have regrown within the spaces we restored last fall, we will be planting additional native shrubs.

What to bring

Water, suitable clothing for the activity and weather, and gloves.

Important to know

We will provide tools and light snacks.

Getting there

Meet us at the entrance to the pathway, located on Mahon Ave across from Evergreen Place!

Please park along Mahon or Calder Ave - as there is street parking only, car pooling to this event is strongly encouraged.
