Gardening Day at 'Gerry's Garden'

Come join us for a day of gardening at the wonderful and inspiring Gerry’s Garden!

This garden was established by 96-year-old resident, Gerry MacPherson in 2007 and has become an important focal point and gathering space for the community. The garden lies on both City and District land within the Keith Lynn neighbourhood – we will be focusing on the garden beds that lie within the District portion.

What you should bring

  • water
  • suitable clothing for the weather
  • sturdy footwear
  • gloves
  • a positive attitude!

What we'll provide

  • tools
  • snacks

Where we'll meet

Look for us in the garden south of the parking lot/Loutet Farm and just north of Brooksbank Elementary.
