Invasive Plant Removal at Maplewood Creek Park

Join us as we continue with our efforts to restore important fish and wildlife habitat in Maplewood Creek Park.

We will be removing invasive blackberry and ivy as well as prepping the site for a fall planting of native shrubs and trees.

Come learn more about this park and its valuable ecosystem within the Seymour valley.

What you should bring

  • suitable clothing for the weather
  • sturdy footwear
  • gloves
  • a positive attitude!

  • tools

  • additional gloves, if needed

Where we'll meet

Meet us on the frontage road on the north side of Mount Seymour Parkway, west of Riverside Drive. We will be at the white gate that leads to the park.
