Invasive weed pull, Mosquito Creek Park

Come join us again and get your hands dirty with a fun and rewarding invasive weed pull!

We will be focusing on removing Blackberry roots but will remove any other invasive species we come across along the way. This is the third stage of our restoration project in this area following machine work, where the area was mowed to the ground, and an invasive pull.

Tools will be provided but please bring your own gloves, leather gloves are highly advised when handling Blackberry. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle.

Easiest access to site is off Sunnycrest Drive. However, due to limited parking in the area please consider: transit, carpool, getting dropped off, or parking lower down Mosquito Creek Park and walking to site if you area able to.
