Quarry Rock Clean Up

Thursday, Jul 5, 2018
6:00pm - 9:00pm
Quarry Rock trail
2497 Panorama Drive

Quarry Rock is a beautiful hike that gets well used during the summer. Especially after a busy long weekend we want to make sure that we are giving back to our forests, and maintaining a great hike for all users.

We will be meeting at the Quarry Rock trail head along Panorama drive at 6:00 pm and leaving shortly after that.

We will provide gloves, bags/buckets, and litter picking tongs. We will then move out in teams and begin cleaning up the trail. We can also perform some routine trail maintenance works.

The best part is that we can leave the trash at the far end of the trail for a District works truck to pick up, then hike back unencumbered.
