Riparian Enhancement on Hastings Creek

Saturday, Nov 17, 2018
10:00am - 1:00pm
Princess Park
Princess Avenue

Recently, a large volunteer-based planting was started along the northern edge of Hastings Creek as it runs through the park. This was done to protect the creek bank from further erosion and to provide improved habitat for the critters of the park.

This event will focus on finishing the job — planting in areas next to the creek, filling in vacant spots with additional native shrubs, and laying down mulch to protect the newly installed plants.
