Tree planting at Lynn Creek Estuary in Harbourview Park

Come join us once again for the next phase of restoration work at Harbourview Park!

We'll be planting native trees and shrubs on an area that has been cleared of invasive Himalayan blackberry and English ivy to prevent their regrowth. This volunteer work will help to restore the riparian area of the Lynn Creek Estuary into a healthy ecosystem.

We'll provide tools but please bring your own gloves (if you have them), dress appropriately for the weather, and bring a reusable water bottle.

There is limited parking in the main parking lot for Harbourview Park. Please consider parking in the parking lot next to the PetSmart on Main street and walking down the trail to meet us!

Plant funding has been provided by BC Hydro's Community ReGreening Grant.
