On average, approximately one billion litres of water is used daily in Metro Vancouver. This can increase to more than 1.5 billion litres daily during the summer. Join us to hear how Metro Vancouver and member municipalities are setting conservation targets and working with residents and businesses to help conserve and ensure an adequate supply of our high-quality treated drinking water.

Metro Vancouver’s Sustainability Community Breakfasts is a series of monthly breakfast meetings that support the Sustainable Region Initiative. They provide an opportunity to build networks and partnerships, to increase awareness and understanding of the opportunities and challenges related to sustainability, and to bring together individuals and organizations interested in the sustainability of the region. Each breakfast typically features one or more presentations about sustainability initiatives, as well as updates about on-going projects.
