A Letter to the Community from Your North Shore Mayors

We write to you today on behalf of the members of all three Councils, who care deeply about the health and well-being of those who live and work on the North Shore.  It has been heartbreaking to learn that COVID-19 has caused the passing of a number of our residents, and our sincere condolences go out to their families and friends.

Core services, such as public safety, transportation and recreation, and investments in new infrastructure and renewal of the existing built environment are primarily funded by your tax dollars. We allocate funds to the highest service and infrastructure priorities, and your feedback plays a critical role in that.

After careful and thorough consideration, the Approving Officer for the District of North Vancouver, Mr. Dan Milburn, has advised The Waterfront Limited Partnership that if a detailed subdivision application were submitted for the property located at 1371 McKeen Ave in North Vancouver as proposed, he would refuse it.
