Capilano watermain replacement project - traffic detours begin Sept. 8
Metro Vancouver is relocating and replacing an aging and seismically vulnerable watermain pipe beneath Capilano Road. This pipe delivers drinking water from the Seymour and Capilano watersheds to residents and businesses on the North Shore and across the region.
Construction and installation of the pipe begins in August 2015.

During construction of the Capilano Watermain, traffic will be rerouted onto local streets. Street use permits for work that may affect traffic flow on those streets will not be issued.
