Fireworks permits in the DNV

With Halloween approaching, we want to remind you that you must apply for a permit if you're going to purchase, possess, or set off fireworks within the District.

With a permit, you are allowed to purchase and set off fireworks during specific times:

• October 25 to October 31 — You can buy fireworks during this period
• October 31 (6pm to 10pm) ―  You can set off fireworks during this period
