Heat warning issued: Find out where to cool down

A heat warning has been issued for the North Shore, with high temperatures expected on Wednesday and Thursday.

If you need a place to escape the heat, try visiting a North Vancouver District Public Library branch or a Community Recreation Centre. You can cool down and rehydrate at the following locations:

Libraries

• Parkgate Library (3675 Banff Crt)

Community Recreation Centres

• Ron Andrews (931 Lytton St)
• Parkgate (3625 Banff Ct)
• Karen Magnussen (2300 Kirkstone Rd)
• Delbrook (851 West Queens Rd)

Several parks and other outdoor facilities across the District also feature fountains, water refill stations, and even spray parks.
