Honouring National Indigenous Peoples Day

Today, we honour the rich history and culture of our neighbours, the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səl̓ilwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
We are committed to advancing reconciliation at a local level and strengthening our relationships with First Nations.
June is National Indigenous History Month, and the North Vancouver District Public Library has various resources to learn more about Indigenous history, including books, films and upcoming library events.
