New artificial turf field at Argyle is open for play

The new artificial turf field at École Argyle Secondary is now available for field sports users.
The District partnered with the North Vancouver School District to build the field, which includes an adjoining turf practice area that opened in August.
The field is lined for field hockey, football, rugby and soccer and includes lighting for the main field and practice court.
This new field is an important amenity for the Argyle school community and the larger community.
In addition to being the new home field for Argyle school teams, the field can be booked through the North Vancouver Recreation and Culture Commission for a wide range of community sports groups outside of school hours.
