New Officer-In-Charge announced for North Vancouver RCMP

The City of North Vancouver and the District of North Vancouver are pleased to announce the appointment of Superintendent Jayson Lucash as the new Officer-In-Charge (OIC) of the North Vancouver RCMP detachment.

Supt. Lucash, who has been acting OIC since October 2022, began his career as a constable posted to the Ridge Meadows detachment in 1996, where he later returned 25 years later as a member of the senior leadership team as Operations Officer.

Over the course of his 27 years’ service, Supt. Lucash has gained experience covering all aspects of policing and senior leadership roles in communities across British Columbia, including Kelowna, Penticton, Prince George and Terrace where he was Commanding Officer.

When not in Command at the North Vancouver RCMP detachment, Supt. Lucash enjoys spending time with his wife and their three dogs. Supt. Lucash is a biking and outdoor enthusiast, which makes North Vancouver a great fit.
