Fireworks permits update

Due to the recent rain, weather forecast, and projected low fire danger rating in the coming weeks, Fire Chiefs from District of North Vancouver Fire & Rescue and West Vancouver Fire & Rescue have decided that fireworks permits will be issued in accordance with Bylaw 7456.

Halloween fireworks require a permit and may only be set off during specific times.

Fireworks, open flames, and smoking are strictly prohibited in parks and forested areas at all times. Please remember to be cautious when discharging fireworks and stay safe this Halloween.
