Today, the DNV recognizes National Indigenous Peoples Day and honours the culture and history of  local First Nations, the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səl̓ilwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, and all Indigenous communities.

Today, the governments of Canada and British Columbia announced a $3.3 million investment towards improvements to Deep Cove’s village core along lower Gallant Avenue. Funding for new affordable housing secured for District

BC Housing has announced that the proposal for an 86-unit, four-storey affordable rental building at 600 West Queens in the District of North Vancouver has been approved to receive a grant from its Community Housing Fund.
