District-wide zoning map and bylaw

The District is divided into a number of zones. All land, buildings, and other structures within these zones need to conform to the regulations for that zone, as defined in the consolidated zoning bylaw.

If your property is in a zone that does not allow for the project you are planning, you should consider another site where that use is permitted. If that is not possible, you will need to apply to have the property rezoned.

How to use this page

To find out what is permitted on a given property:

  1. Zoom in to find the property on the map
  2. Note which zone the property is in (examples: CD2, RS4, PA)
  3. Refer to the zoning bylaw to find the specific land use requirements for that zone
