We are building a new full-size artificial turf field (ATF) in Inter River Park that will meet tournament standards, and increase the sports field availability in the park.

On Thursday, August 22, 2019, Vancouver Coastal Health closed Panorama Park beach in Deep Cove to swimming due to elevated bacteria counts recorded in water quality testing. The water quality was tested again on August 23 and results came back favourable.

The Lynn Canyon suspension bridge will remain open until further notice due to construction delays. We’ll be posting an update on our website and social media channels at the end of October 2019 as we work to determine a new start date for work to begin.

As part of our effort to create a special, pedestrian-first place within the heart of Lions Gate Village, we are building a new street running north-south between Fullerton Avenue and Curling Road, and we'd like your help naming it.

[UPDATE: 10:00pm] Work to repair the break is progressing, and we expect two-way traffic to be restored through the work area in about an hour. 

Update - 7pm: crews have repaired the water main along Fullerton Ave and water service has been turned back on for residents of Woodcroft Estates.

The lacrosse box at Inter River Park has been replaced and is now reopened for play.

With the federal election taking place fall 2019, there are different rules for displaying election signs, as regulated by the District of North Vancouver, Elections Canada, and Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.

We are working with TransLink on road improvements that will increase mobility and safety for people who walk, bike, or drive along Tatlow Avenue.

You may have noticed the sun is starting to set earlier, causing it to get dark before 9 pm. To help park rangers keep our visitors safe, we are adjusting the access hours for Lynn Canyon Park.
