From July - August 2019, crews will be replacing an aging culvert underneath Carnation Street between Berkley Road and Emerson Way.

From June - October 2019, crews will be replacing an undersized culvert beneath the road on Evergreen Place between Delbrook Avenue and Everglade Place. The existing pipe culvert is being replaced by a new culvert that increases capacity for storms, helps reduce flood risk, and provides a better environment for fish.

We are working with the Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) and Metro Vancouver Regional District (MVRD) on a water quality investigation and improvement project for Thomas Creek, Range Creek, and Taylor Creek from June - September 2019.

To accommodate the demolition of the old Mountain Highway overpass, Highway 1 between the Lynn Valley Road and Fern Street interchanges will be closed from 11pm to 5am for five days in late April and early May.

On April 30 and May 2, North Shore Emergency Managment (NSEM) is conducting emergency exercises in Kilmer Creek Park in North Vancouver. Do not be alarmed. This is practice to help better prepare for real emergencies.
