Road closures at Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, Feb 11-15, 2019

During the week of February 11, Lynn Valley Road will be closed from the gates at Evelyn Street to Lynn Headwaters Regional Park daily, from 7am to 3pm, to accommodate urgent slope stabilization and maintenance work along the roadway.

Work will start on February 11 and is expected to be completed in four to five days.

In the event this work is delayed by poor weather conditions, the work will continue the following week until completed.

Parking and park access during the closure

This work requires the use of large excavation equipment, making the road impassable to vehicles. For safety reasons, the road may also be periodically closed to cyclists and pedestrians during working hours.

For visitors to Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, two-hour time limited parking restrictions remain in place on local streets. Vehicles will also be re-directed to the parking lots at Lynn Canyon Park and pedestrians will be encouraged to use the Varley Trail.

Thank you for your patience while we complete this important work.
