Temporary trail closures

The Department of National Defence has resumed the clearance of unexploded explosive ordnance (UXO) at the former Blair Rifle Range, located in the Northlands area.

The former Blair Rifle Range was used by the Canadian Armed Forces for military training from the 1930s to the 1960s.

For safety reasons, select trails will be closed on a rotational basis while this work is underway. The clearance work is expected to continue until May 31, 2024.
