Integra Architecture has applied to redevelop this property. The application as submitted proposes 37 three-storey townhomes in four separate buildings, with 76 parking spaces in an underground parkade.

1995 W 1st Street (Vancouver Wharves Terminal Diesel Handling Facility)

Hemmera Envirochem has applied to build two additional diesel storage tanks (approximately 20 metres high) and 12 new railcar unloading positions on this property.

2010 Marine Drive / 1633 Capilano Road (Grouse Inn)

Council approved a development permit for this project on April 16, 2018. The application includes 258 residential units, commercial space (including a small grocery store, a restaurant, retail space, and a daycare), and approximately 464 parking spaces on two levels underground.

LARCO Investments Ltd. had their development permit issued on July 25, 2016. Construction is now underway, and is expected to be completed in early 2019. 

2050-2070 Marine Drive (Travelodge site)

Marvel Group has applied to redevelop this property. The application as submitted proposes approximately 208 owned (condominium) units in a 29-storey tower with adjacent townhouses, 56 owned (condominium) units in a six-storey building with adjacent townhouses, and 35 affordable rental apartments in a four-storey building.

North Shore Wastewater Treatment Plant (Pemberton Ave and West 1st Street)

Metro Vancouver, in partnership with ACCIONA, is building a new wastewater treatment plant at the foot of Pemberton Avenue, on the old BC Rail site.
