1541-1557 Bond Street

Pure Living Bond Street has applied to redevelop this site and a portion of the District lane allowance, subject to Road Closure Bylaw processes. The application as submitted proposes 60 rental apartments in a six-storey building with 30 parking spaces in an underground parkade. Six of the rental apartments (10% of all units) are proposed to be discounted by 40-50% below market rents in perpetuity.

HDR Architecture Associates, Inc. has applied to develop this property on behalf of Capilano University. The application as submitted proposes a six-storey 207 room (362 bed) student housing building. Rental rates will be below market, and secured in perpetuity.

220 Mountain Highway & 1515-1555 Oxford Street

TPL Developments Oxford General Partnership has applied to redevelop this property. The application as submitted proposes 134 market rental and 6 non-market rental apartments in a six-storey residential building with 101 parking spaces.

267 & 271 Orwell Street

Terra Housing – on behalf of Sanford Affordable Housing Society in partnership with Hollyburn Family Services Society – has applied to develop a six-story building with 90 units of below-market housing and 68 parking spaces on this District owned land, which will be leased to the housing operator. Project development funding will be provided by BC Housing.
