Council voted to approve this development permit on July 9, 2018.​ The project includes build two additional diesel storage tanks (approximately 20 metres high) and 12 new railcar unloading positions on this property.

2045-2075 Old Dollarton Road

TRC Construction Managers has applied to redevelop this site. The application as submitted proposes 36 owned apartments plus 482 sq m (5,188 sq ft) of commercial space in a five-storey building with 54 parking spaces (36 for residents, 9 for visitors, 9 for commercial parking)

2049 Heritage Park Lane

Council voted to approve the rezoning and issue the development permit for this application on September 24, 2018. The project includes 39 owned townhomes in two four-storey buildings with 70 parking spaces in an underground parkade.

2050-2070 Marine Drive (Travelodge site)

IBI Group has applied to redevelop this property. The application as submitted proposes approximately 208 owned apartments in a 29-storey tower with adjacent townhouses, 56 owned apartments in a six-storey building with adjacent townhouses, and 35 affordable rental apartments in a four-storey building.

2055 Purcell Way (Capilano University on-campus student housing)

HDR Architecture Associates, Inc. has applied to develop this property on behalf of Capilano University. The application as submitted proposes a six-storey 207 room (362 bed) student housing building. Rental units will be secured in perpetuity.

2131-2171 Old Dollarton Road (Maplewood Gardens)

Darwin Properties has applied to build 374 owned apartments, 99 market rental apartments, and 80 below-market rental apartments in one 12-storey and four six-storey buildings. There is an additional 10,882 sq ft of commercial space proposed, and parking for 600 vehicles in an underground parkade.

2160-2168 Old Dollarton Road

Noort Developments Limited has applied to redevelop this site. The application as submitted proposes 25 owned apartments and three non-market rental townhomes in a four-storey building with 37 parking spaces.

220 Mountain Highway & 1515-1555 Oxford Street

TPL Developments Oxford General Partnership has applied to redevelop this property. The application as submitted proposes 134 market rental and 6 non-market rental apartments in a six-storey residential building with 101 parking spaces.

229 Seymour River Place (Maplewood Plaza)

Council voted to approve the rezoning and development application for this project on September 24, 2018. The project includes commercial/retail use on the ground level, and two separate six-storey residential buildings above.

267 & 271 Orwell Street

Council voted to issue the development permit for this application on May 31, 2021. The application was submitted by Terra Housing — on behalf of Sanford Affordable Housing Society in partnership with Hollyburn Family Services Society — and includes a six-story building with 90 units of below-market housing and 68 parking spaces on this District owned land, which will be leased to the housing operator. Project development funding will be provided by BC Housing.
