December 3, 2019 — Public information meeting
The applicant hosted a public information meeting, which is required as part of the application process. This was an opportunity for area residents to ask questions and share their thoughts.
July 25, 2019 — Detailed application received
Staff received the detailed application, and started reviewing it. The detailed application increases the number of properties under development from five to nine, and also increases the number of proposed units.
June 13, 2018 — Preliminary application concluded
Staff finished reviewing the preliminary application. If the applicant wishes to continue with this project, the next step is for them to submit a detailed application.
March 27, 2017 — Application received
Staff received the preliminary application, and began reviewing it.

Site overview
The development site is located on the north side of Belle Isle Park, and currently consists of nine single-family homes.
The LARCO development is to the south, and there are other townhome developments to the north and east.
Current land use designation
The Official Community Plan (OCP) designates this site as Residential Level 2: Detached Residential (RES2).
Additional requirements
If the project proceeds, it will require rezoning and an OCP amendment. It will also require a development permit for:
- Form and character of multi-family development
- Energy and water conservation and greenhouse gas emission reductions
Proposed size
The proposed floor space ratio (FSR) is 1.28.
Access improvements
The application proposes road and sidewalk upgrades around the development site.
