The project includes build two additional diesel storage tanks (approximately 20 metres high) and 12 new railcar unloading positions on this property.

Staff received the detailed application, and started reviewing it.

Site overview

Since 1959, this 125-acre terminal with both rail and marine access has handled bulk materials. There are currently four storage tanks on site.

Additional requirements

The project is consistent with current site zoning. However, if the project proceeds, it will require a development permit for:

  • Form and character
  • Energy and water conservation
  • Creek hazard
