Bid opportunities
We provide fair, equal, competitive bid opportunities to the business community in the acquisition of supplies, services, assets, and infrastructure that provide best overall value.
Our Purchasing section manages the bid opportunities, including request for proposals (RFPs), invitations to tender (ITT), and invitations to quote (ITQ). Formal bid opportunities are issued for most acquisitions having an expected value over $75,000.00 for goods and services and $200,000.00 for construction.
We advertise our formal bid opportunities on the Government of British Columbia's website, BC Bid, and on the bids&tenders platform, enabling vendors to review, register, download, and submit bids online.
