Late last week, five members of my household – including me – began having symptoms of COVID-19. On Sunday, I tested positive after taking a rapid antigen test I received from the Lloyd Ave testing site in North Vancouver.
I’m following all public health orders and will remain isolated according to the guidelines. Other than a mild fever and cold-like symptoms, I am doing well and resting comfortably at home.
I am double vaccinated, and appear to be on the mend. Councillor Muri will serve as Acting Mayor in my absence.
