Sustainability Grants Program open for applications

The Sustainability Grants Program provides funding to support small-scale, community-based environment and sustainability projects and is now open for applications.
Not-for-profits, community groups, and schools in the District are eligible to apply. A total of $30,000 is available, and successful projects will receive approximately $1,000 to $5,000.
We are looking for community-led projects that address challenges in one or more of the following categories:
- Zero waste
- Healthy ecosystems
- Climate adaptation and resilience
- Low-carbon buildings and energy use reduction
- Low carbon and active transportation
The deadline for applications is October 30, 2023.
