Heritage awards nominations open until January 3

Do you know a person or group involved in promoting heritage in our community?

You can nominate them for a Heritage Award until January 3.

“Our annual awards raise awareness of heritage conservation,” says Tina Atva, Manager, Community Planning.  “Our values-based approach to heritage management includes buildings and built landscapes, as well as trees, landscapes, viewpoints, and cultural practices. We want to identify a broad range of heritage resources.”

2021 award recipients 

• Welcome Figure at L’École Argyle Secondary: Heritage Advocacy
• Coast Salish Plant Nursery (Wild Bird Trust of BC): Heritage Advocacy
• 281 West Braemar Road (Tor Y Mar): Maintenance and Restoration of Residential/Commercial/Public Use Structures
