Complete this form to submit your application for a Community Heritage Grant.

I. Information about you

Before you proceed...

To complete this application, you'll be asked to upload these documents:

  • current photos of the property (one required)
  • historic photos (optional)
  • itemized cost estimates (at least one required)
  • written support from the property owner (if you're a tenant)
  • a Statement of Significance (if available)

II. Details of your planning project

You are required to submit the property owner's written support of this application.

Employees of the District are not eligible to receive a Community Heritage Grant

(Legal protection may include municipal heritage designation bylaw, a covenant on title, or a Heritage Revitalization Agreement)

We may add your property to the District’s Community Heritage Register upon completion of this project if you're applying for a Statement of Significance.

(Projects must be completed within one year of grant approval, or must have been completed within the year before you submit this grant application)
II. Details of your conservation project

You are required to submit the property owner's written support of this application.

Employees of the District are not eligible to receive a Community Heritage Grant

(Legal protection may include municipal heritage designation bylaw, a covenant on title, or a Heritage Revitalization Agreement)
(Priority will be given to applications for work to repair, restore, or rehabilitate, and meets the intent of the current version of the Standards and Guidelines for the Conservation of Historic Places in Canada (available online from Parks Canada))
(Projects must be completed within one year of grant approval, or must have been completed within the year before you submit this grant application)
