We are holding public meeting for a proposed Child Care Facility Business Licence for Lollypop Childcare Inc. to expand their current group child care licence from 8 children (multi-age child care) to 20 children (12 spots for Group Child Care under 36 months, 8 spots for Group Child Care 30 months to school age), with business hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

A public meeting is your opportunity to speak to Council if you feel your interests will be affected by the proposed Child Care Facility Business Licence.

The doors to District Hall open 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of public meetings. Advance registration is not required to attend public Council meetings.

How to participate in the public meetings

Speaking in person or virtually

If you would like to speak at this public meeting — either in person or virtually over Zoom — email signup@dnv.org before 3pm on the day of the meeting. Once the speakers who signed up in advance have had the opportunity to speak, the Mayor will provide attendees observing virtually who did not sign up in advance to speak — but have decided to do so once the meeting is underway — with an opportunity to speak.

Submitting written content

You may submit your comments in writing either by mail or hand to Corporate Officer, 355 West Queens Road, North Vancouver, BC, V7N 4N5 or by email to input@dnv.org. Your submission must be received before the close of the Public Meeting.

All submissions will be shared with Council and entered into the record of public input available for public inspection.
