Provincial recovery grant for small and medium-sized business
If you own a small or medium-sized business in the District, you're eligible for a provincial grant that provides financial support during and beyond COVID-19.
The Small and Medium-Sized Business Recovery Grant program provides grants to BC businesses that employ between two and 149 residents and that have experienced declines in revenue since March 10, 2020.
Grants of up to $40,000 are available
Grants of $10,000 to $30,000 are available. If you have an eligible tourism-related businesses — including transportation, accommodation, food and beverage services, recreation, entertainment, and travel services — and you've been hit especially hard by COVID-19, an additional grant of $5,000 to $10,000 is available.
The grant program runs until March 31, 2021 or until the funds are fully allocated, and you are encouraged to apply for the grants now.
