William Griffin turf field project complete

The artificial turf field renewal project at William Griffin is complete.

The field officially opened on Tuesday, January 2, and players are already enjoying the new turf.

In addition to replacing the aging playing surface, the field drainage was also upgraded as part of the replacement work, which will improve playability during the rainy season.

William Griffin is one of the District’s busiest fields for year-round play and is used for soccer, field hockey, football and other sports.
