North Shore wide emergency training exercise on November 16

On November 16, your three North Shore municipalities will participate in a large scale emergency simulation that will include many agencies and will cover land, sea, and air. This event is being coordinated by your tri-municipal emergency agency, North Shore Emergency Management (NSEM) and will be the largest training exercise ever conducted on the North Shore. You may notice unusual activity which may include active emergency response vehicles, marine vessels, and helicopters. This is a drill and is not a cause for concern.

Nancy Greene Way bike lanes now complete

The new bike lanes along Nancy Greene Way have been completed. We added an uphill dedicated bike lane, and a downhill shared bike lane, between Prospect Avenue and Grousewoods Drive (south), to help cyclists reach Grouse Mountain, a prime recreation area.
