Through our Community Heritage Advisory Committee, we want to recognize and honour special projects and accomplishments in the field of heritage conservation. The Community Heritage Awards are given in recognition of the efforts of individuals and groups involved in promoting heritage within the District.

We are studying options for providing additional sports field inventory in Inter River Park, while minimizing impacts to the environment, adjacent uses, and neighbours. The park is a regionally significant, multi-venue athletic facility with multiple sports fields, a lacrosse box, and a bike skills park, and is connected by popular trails, with access to adjacent natural features such as Lynn Creek. This consultation closed on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
